B.SC. NURSING

A bachelor's degree program in nursing known as the B.Sc. Nursing course instructs students in critical care areas and includes the values required to become nurses and midwives. The 4-year undergraduate curriculum is followed by a 6-month internship, is divided in 8 semesters examination by the university. Throughout the course, students will participate in assignments, projects, and classroom learning. The moral duty of B.Sc. Nursing students is to uphold a set of moral principles and behave as responsible citizens. Nurses are crucial to maintaining society's cohesiveness. They serve as the foundation of all countries' medical systems.

o Admission Eligibility: The essential prerequisites for enrolling in an Indian B.Sc. Nursing program are listed in the following list.
        o Candidates must have achieved success in the regular stream of the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and             Biology from a recognized board. Open school candidates are not allowed for enrolment.
        o Candidates need also have passed their qualifying exam with at least 45%.
        o Additionally, they must have completed 17 years of age before taking the admission.
        o Candidates should produce conduct and character certificate from the past schooling authorities.

o The assessment authority will be the Sardar Patel University, Anand. All rules pertaining to the theoretical and practical training program will be implemented in accordance with council and university guidelines. In accordance with the policies established by the Indian Nursing Council, a timely adjustment in the syllabus and examination patterns could occasionally be witnessed during the tenure. Students are requested to follow the council-established guidelines for attendance and exams.

GENERAL NURSING & MIDWIFERY (GNM)

General Nursing and Midwifery, or GNM, is a 3-year curriculum that is followed by a 6 required internship focusing on the nursing practice of a particular specialty, such as childbirth, post-trauma, rehabilitation, mental health care, data gathering, etc. Students can pursue careers in nursing such as clinical nurse specialists, legal nurse consultants, forensic nurses, travelling nurses, etc. after completing the GNM Nursing program.

o Admission Eligibility: The following list includes the primary requirements for enrolling in a GNM Nursing program.
        o Candidates must have successfully passed the 10+2 from recognized board regular stream. Open school candidates are             not allowed for enrolment.
        o Candidates need also have passed their qualifying exam with at least 40%.
        o Additionally, they must have completed 17 years before taking the admission.
        o Candidates should produce conduct and character certificate form the past schooling authorities.

o The Gujarat Nursing Council will serve as the assessment authority, and all regulations relevant to the theoretical and practical training course will be adhered to in accordance with its standards. A timely amendment could be seen from time to time in conformity with the Indian Nursing Council's directives. Students are requested to abide by the rules of attendance and examination, as laid by the council.

POST BASIC B.SC. NURSING (Proposed)

We intend to introduce the Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing program during the fiscal year 2024-25.
